The Great Hall is a real piece of art which takes my breath away every time I see it set to host an Evening Reception. It has extremely large empire chandeliers which really set the room off. Wood panelling, stonework, murals and mosaics which collectively make it the most unique venue in Manchester.

Manchester Town Hall also have a wonderful range of packages available that take the hassle out of planning your special day or alternatively they can tailor a bespoke package just for you where you can choose from a range of delicious dishes that are created using the best local produce where possible and available. For your wedding day, there is an exclusive range of state rooms available which can accommodate your ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening celebration.
We find the room really does need a Dance Floor to create set boundaries for your guests. Once they see a sparkly Star Lit White Dance Floor they will soon be dancing the night away.
January 2018 the Town Hall closed to allow over £3 million in repairs to the Wiring, Heating, Roof and Albert Square outside. Estimates are that the Hall will reopen to the public sometime in 2024 if it all goes to plan. So there will be no weddings here for the next 6 years unfortunately but they are protecting and preserving a real gem for the City’s future.
