Before your Wedding

When you book your wedding at Hyde Bank Farm, your experience starts with the highly trained wedding co-ordinator Mandy Blackhurst. Mandy has been helping guests experience the perfect day ever since Hyde Bank Farm opened its doors and she can help you with every aspect of planning to ensure that you can relax and enjoy your perfect day.

 On Approach

The buildings on the farm date back to 1655 and were once home to Ann Hyde who went on to marry James II, King of England. The charming Grade 2 listed sandstone barn has been lovingly converted and furnished to a high quality and is home to the wedding suite. With oak beams and stonewalls the Ann Hyde Suite is overflowing with character.

 Your Ceremony

Your ceremony will be perfect on the first floor of the beautiful Ann Hyde Suite. The wedding suite has superb character and atmosphere, with oak beams, and charming stonewalls. They are fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies at Hyde Bank Farm.

 Relaxing Drinks

Once the all-important ceremony is complete, make your way out into our gardens where you and your wedding party can relax in a peaceful countryside setting. Here you can enjoy a glass of champagne and your party can fully unwind with a few drinks while you have your wedding photos taken.

 Wedding Breakfast

Back inside the venue, enjoy your wedding breakfast, prepared by the in-house chefs. The chefs pride themselves in sourcing fresh and local produce to create the perfect menu for your special day. Get the all-important speeches done and let the fun of your day truly unravel!

 Evening Party

Let you hair down and go wild with the finale of your day! Within the suite is a built in dance floor and a private bar with a range of draught beers, wines and spirits.

 Parking is free and plentiful. The staff are helpful and friendly. I will add that the Stone Barn where I have done previous Weddings is up a steep staircase and is not easy for the elderly or disabled to get up. Especially as the toilets are back downstairs also. However, from April 2017 a new extension to the wedding venue was completed which is all ground level and from the pictures looks the best option anyway. They now have a new bar, lounge and function suite catering for 110 day guests and 150 night guests. The new facilities will compliment the existing 17th century barn. One major spectacle will be a 9.6 metre feature window which over looks the stunning Goyt valley. The bride will have her own room for the day for her own personal use.
