The elegant Windsor Suite in our beautiful Lancashire manor house is the ideal romantic setting for your special day, whatever the season.

Beautifully decorated with a wealth of original features, this grandiose suite offers a feature staircase and a relaxing adjoining lounge and bar area where your guests can gather for drinks and canapés. With an open fireplace, lavish four-metre long Chesterfield and a stunning contemporary bar featuring a suspended glass rack and a brushed silver bullnose top, it’s unique atmosphere provides the perfect backdrop for your special day.

In the warmer weather, the private gardens and graceful pagoda offers a truly idyllic wedding setting, as well as providing countless opportunities for those all-important photographs.

For a more informal wedding ceremony, step inside our newly-refurbished Nest restaurant. Beautifully decorated with a unique Victorian style floor, Nest is truly breathtaking and provides the perfect setting for your intimate celebration.

The Manor House can comfortably seat between 60 and 90 guests for a Wedding Breakfast and between 100 and 200 for evening celebrations.

The Balmoral Suite is licensed for both civil ceremonies and civil partnerships, and with its private courtyard, it’s the perfect place for your guests to arrive in style!

In the warmer months, raise a glass to your future happiness in the outside BBQ patio area. Set within a beautifully landscaped private garden and lit by twinkling fairy lights and rustic lanterns, it’s simply perfect for a romantic summer evening.

During the winter, the fires are lit and the feature chimney breast is adorned with church candles, creating the perfect backdrop for a warm and intimate celebration. Mingle in the unique bar area with its mood lighting and integrated sound system, and celebrate the start of your new life as husband and wife.

The Balmoral Suite can comfortably seat between 80 to 100 guests for a Wedding Breakfast and between 120 and 160 for an evening reception.

Summary:

This is one of my favourite venues I’ve every done. The Balmoral Suite was beautiful and looked stunning set up for the ceremony and breathtaking once we added our glossy white star lit floor. The staff was friendly and helpful with the venue looking very clean, crisp and sharp. The grounds are amazing and you will surely have ample opportunity for some wonderful pictures. There is plenty of free parking and the venue is nice and flat for guests with disabilities and the elderly. I highly recommend this venue.
