Your Wedding Ceremony
The venue for your ceremony is the first thing your guests will see upon arrival, and will be the first place you – the happy couple – will stand together as one. This is why it is important you choose a location that encompasses the theme of your wedding.
Every couple desires something different from their ceremony, whether they want to create an intimate and romantic atmosphere or pull out a show stopping event with style and surprise. To ensure your ceremony ticks all of your boxes, Heaton House Farm offer a choice of four different areas of the venue, each with a little magic and ambience.
You can get married:
Under The Stars
Even though it’s the largest of the four licensed wedding areas at Heaton House Farm, there is something intimate and incredibly romantic about our Under the Stars location.
There is a reason our Under the Stars venue has been featured on TV (BBC Three’s Don’t Tell The Bride). Even if the room is filled with 350 guests, the magical night sky ensures your wedding delivers the ‘wow’ factor, with an intimate yet dramatic ambience!
Whilst you prepare in our relaxing Bridal Preparation room, the Event Coordinator will take charge and ensure everyone is in the right place at the right time. All you have to worry about is enjoying your perfect day!
With the option of walking down the aisle to live music – onto your very own stage surrounded by your closest friends and family – what can be more romantic location than being Under the Stars.
The Oak Pagoda can seat up to 150 guests, with the option of extending out onto the lawn for larger numbers to cater for parties of all sizes.
Cant trust the British weather? that’s why they always have a ‘Plan B’ set up, ready at the drop of a hat, in case the heavens open. They can move all your guests inside for an indoor ceremony, all you need to do is decide up to an hour in advance to ensure you enjoy the perfect day!
Guests will gather first in the Bar area as you get ready, and will then be escorted by your ushers to their seats in anticipation of your arrival. The Event Co-ordinator will ensure everything is set up and ready to go, so you can enjoy yourself!
Whether you want to make a subtle entrance or arrive in style, you can do so at this venue! From horse and carriage to a VW campervan, the Oak Pagoda can accommodate almost any style of transport and makes a wonderful talking point as you arrive at the end of the aisle.
After the vows
After exchanging vows under stunning, hand crafted oak beams with unbeatable countryside views, it’s now time to enjoy the reception!
Whether you want drinks and canapés on the patio, or garden games on the lawn – we will work closely with you to ensure your day runs smoothly from start to finish.
Oak Beamed Barn
There is nothing about this venue that isn’t pure beauty; from the original handcrafted sandstone walls and hand carved Green Oak ceiling beams, to the unforgettable countryside views and rural surroundings.
This venue can seat up to 120 guests, but you don’t need to worry about where – The Events Coordinator will ensure they are organised on the day so you can properly enjoy your time in our Bridal Preparation room!
Under The Pleats
If you’re looking to create a classic and elegant surrounding for a civil ceremony with up to 100 guests, then this is definitely the venue for you.
With effortless ivory décor, including the romantic pleats, you can even add a splash of personality to the room with in-built lighting to suit your chosen colour scheme.
Heaton House Farm have a selection of approved caterers who will work hard to deliver an exquisite dining experience for you and your guests on your big day, no matter what style of food you wish to serve.
Following a dramatic curtain drop entrance for both you and your guests, you will all get to enjoy a beautiful wedding breakfast in Steeles Barn, whilst admiring the picturesque views of the countryside.
Speeches are traditionally made before or after the meal, so we make sure your bridal party have access to all the necessary equipment to enjoy the day without a worry.
Whether you want the evening to be centred around your first dance, cutting the cake, enjoying the bar, or socialising with friends and family, the staff will make sure all of your plans come together. As well as moving your table decorations through to the evening room to continue the original ambience of the wedding, they will transform the Wedding Barn into your dream evening venue.
With the option of live bands or your own DJ, and plenty of space for props and fun activities, you have the choice between pulling out all the stops or keeping it simple and elegant!
Heaton House offers so much it is always a magical day and night. I do recommend you consider the distance you and all your guests will need to travel to get here. From Manchester it’s over 1 hour away. Will your guests be able to stay over? Will they leave early as they are driving? Just something to consider when planning a venue like this. One added bonus is they have facilities for camping on site. That is tents, caravans and motorhomes with hookups.
