Monton Sports Club was once Quaker Bridge Ground and over the last century has seen outstanding transformations to create the beautiful setting that it is today.

We have two flexible spaces for wedding occasions and use of the grounds is also permitted depending on availability.

The Oakwood Lounge provides the perfect setting for your civil ceremony. This will be available from spring of 2018, with a maximum capacity of 60 guests.

The Cavendish Suite is the ideal space for your wedding breakfast and/or evening reception with its light outlook over the cricket grounds. It can seat 30-150 guests and keep the party going through until midnight. The outdoor patio seating area is included in the hire, with access until 10pm.

Monton Sports Club work with a Catering Partner to cater for your every need, whether that is canapes on arrival, hot & chilled buffets, BBQ’s, children’s menus as well as sit down two, three or four course possibilities. Their team will work with you on a bespoke menu.

They can cater for a maximum of 150 people buffet style & 110 for sit down meal options.

The Venue is flat with easy access for the elderly and disabled. The patio is perfect on a warm summers evening and is always popular with the guests with some stunning sunsets. I also like that the bar is close to all the action which some venues can struggle with. It is close to the M60 and M62 motorway networks and only 10 minutes from Manchester City Centre.
