Lowry Theatre Compass Room

KP have worked in the Compass Room many times & it is one of our favourites due to it being so light & airy with all the natural daylight provided. It has a lift to the top floor which is perfect for older guests or guests with disabilities. Located adjacent to the theatre is a multi-storey car park so plenty of space for your guests to park however be aware it comes with a charge. Close by you have plenty of hotel options if guests want to stay over night plus you have the Lowry Outlet Village with many bars located within the same complex.

Facilities and capacity

Offering the most stunning panoramic views of the Quays from its luxurious private balcony, the Compass Room is a sight to see. Beautifully-designed, it represents a circular glass enclosure and accommodates as many as 150 for ceremonies, and 200 for receptions. Alternatively, couples may choose The Hexagon Room, which seats 100 for marriage ceremonies and 60 for meals and receptions. The lovely views across the water coupled with its magical vibe lend The Lowry Art & Entertainmentits appeal.

Reception & Breakfast
The Compass Room is privately located on its own floor at the very top of the building, a perfect location in which to celebrate your special day. Panoramic views can be enjoyed from floor to ceiling windows which surround the room, or alternatively from its own private outdoor balcony. There is also the option of lighting the space with a bespoke canopy of fairy lights which adds a special touch to your day.

Toilets, the bar & smoking on the balcony are all within the room or accessed from the room so all your guests will stay together which makes for a great day & night. Also it is very special as the sun sets & Media City lights up. You can even see Old Trafford from the balcony!

Confetti is dependent on what other events are taking place in and around the building. Please your wedding co-ordinator for more details. Lift access to the Compass Room which is great for the elderly and disabled guests.

In terms of room potential I recommend DJ | White Star Lit Dance Floor | Giant Heart | Dry Ice 1st Dance | Light Up Letters & Photo Booth. These services work well in the room & can really add to the overall success of the Reception.
